In 1998 Manufaktur started to produce it's own collection of handpainted textile materials with a very special flair. Silk, Cotton, wool, rayon, metallics - we love variety and strong colours. Embroidery is one of the oldest "just-for-fun" hand worked technique. A lot of knowledge has been lost in the back of our drawers. We often think embroidery as oldfashioned dusty pictures and carefully hidden tablecloth left to us by our ancestors.

ISTA bietet lokale Seminare, Seminare für selbstgesteuertes Lernen und eine berufsbegleitende Ausbildung an. Die Ausbildung dient als Vorbereitung für den praktischen Teil der Gesellenprüfung im neuen Beruf <TextilgestalterIn im Handwerk - Fachbereich Sticken>. Dieser Vorbereitungslehrgang ist ebenfalls als Selbststudienlehrgang konzipiert. Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene sind gleichermassen willkommen, der Unterricht ist auch in englischer Sprache möglich.
